FAQ

Just a list of a few questions that I get a good bit!

*What does the session fee include?

The session fee includes the photographers time and talent, a 1-3 hour portrait session customized to suit your preferences, custom hand editing of your ordered images, a password protected online proofing gallery, a pre-session consultation either in studio or on the phone, and a scheduled 1 hour viewing appointment where we walk through the ordering process and help you create a custom gallery for your wall.

*Do you have a minimum order?

Yes. We take a limited number of sessions per month to ensure you the highest quality of products and services therefore our minimum order is $250.00

* How long will the session last?

Well, that depends on the age of the child.

Most newborn sessions last around 2 hours (simply getting them to sleep takes the majority of that time)

4 month to teen sessions usually last about an hour, depending on the child demeanor.

High school Senior sessions last from 1 1/2 hors to 2 hours depending on the number of locations and outfits.

Family Sessions are usually an hour (yes, dad can go first so he can go ahead and get to work)

* Where do you photograph?

I have a studio to accommodate up to 5 people. or I have 4/5 favorite spots but I am up for most anything. I want your session to reflect you and your families style and interests. Newborn to 1 yr. are done in studio or in your home.

* What is your turn around time?

The gallery is normally online within 14 days of the session. Once an order is placed images will be ready for pick up within 2-3 weeks. Some items: albums, canvas, and extensive retouch tend to take a bit longer.

*When do you take newborn images?

I like to take the images within the first 12 days of life. The babies tend to sleep better and are more willing to allow me to mold them into position when they are young.

*I have come in for a session- now what?

We will set up a viewing appointment for approximately 1-2 weeks after your session. An online gallery will be put up 2 days prior to your viewing appointment for you to share with family and make your initial selections. At the viewing appointment we will go thru each image on a 50-inch screen, showing crops, gallery options, and finish options to ensure you get exactly what you want for your home.

*May I bring my camera/camcorder to the session?

I prefer that you do not. It seems to be quite confusing to the subject when they see multiple cameras, they do not know where to look.

*What sort of payment do you take? What about a payment plan?

I accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks and cash.

A payment plan can be set up on orders over $800.00. This will be charged in 2-3 monthly payments with a credit card on file, once complete payment is made the order will be placed.

*Do you tag on facebook?

Once your minimum order is met, I will be happy to tag some of your images on facebook.

*Touch-up

I do minimal touch up to your images before they are placed in the gallery. Once your order is placed all images will be completely touched removing all blemishes, stains, drool, etc..

*Specials

I do 2 sets of "mini" sessions a year. They consist of 15 minute session on location. If you are interested be sure to submit the contact us form and let us know you would like to be on the mailing list.
